More than
40 people sporting "Real Sex Ed Saves Lives"
t-shirts walked in the Freihofer's Community Walk in
Albany, NY on Saturday, June 4. Wearing the shirts
helped to raise awareness of our campaign and inspired
many parents to get more information and talk honestly
with their children. In addition, 5 women ran
in the Freihofer's Run for Women wearing the t-shirts.
The
Get the Facts NY campaign also had a booth at the community
health expo, where we collected hundreds of signatures
in support of sex education for young people in NYS
schools.
